So the Stick functions as the bass in this one, there is a brief bit of melody side work in ummm I guess the prechorus? If that's what you'd call it. Anyways - fun to create and there was a bit of genre hopping in this one. Played in Ebmaj/Cminor. Can you ever forgive me for the country guitar solos? hahaha

Ha Ha.. only if you forgive me for just listening to the music from Dowtown Abbey !!

*Funny thing is at first I thought I was hearing some new Philip Glass composition...........

The more music I hear from you, the more I think the 8 string route is the right path for you - perhaps an NS Stick, since anythign gpes with that instrument.....

This rocks very very well..... very well.

lol Mutual forgiveness! Actually, I like the Downton Abbey music...

Yeah I am really thinking hard about it (My tapping type playing), and the more that I dwell on it, an instrument where I can only tap is kind of unappealing. Perhaps an N/S might be the way to go, I mean at the very least I can always play bass with the darn thing, and I think that it accommodates plectrum and finger style type playing...?

Hmmm Maybe I'll keep an eye open for one...

Absolutely.
The NS Stick has a retractable mute.
When it is stowed you can play that baby just like a bass, slapping/popping, you can pick it like a guitar, she will let you do anything you want.
With the mute engaged, it taps like a Stick.
Now mine is modified.
I said goodbye to that rod/arm for the strap and came up with something a whole lot better for me anyway.
On Sticklist I got a two part detailed review which surprisingly got almost no attention.
Theres pictures there of my new strap set up.
I can't recommend the NS Stick highly enough.
It is by far the most versatile instrument known to man.
