Made this list for 'production' tapping instruments, so removed Starrett Guitars. Maybe i'll make another thread for singular and low-number tapping instruments.
Added Box Guitars which are actually still in production.
Added Austin Douglas Guitars.

Just going through the links here, actually the Dave Bunker 2001 surprised me - I would actually play one of those hahaha it actually looks cool, slightly goofy but cool...
The Warrs look neat, and so do the Sticks, Harpeji of course looks great and I am a sucker for any guitar... Just my taste of course! What else is out there?

Here is some tapping on a less-than-$150 7-string guitar.  Scroll to the bottom for a sound sample.

Thats a great list ixlramp! ... thanks for taking the time to compile it.
Just to clear up about our instruments, I guess the brand in full should be 'Dragonfly Tapping Instruments'. I consider it a kind of umbrella brand that covers the electric instruments we started with, but also encompasses the new nylon-string acoustic line and a bunch of other ideas that I hope to develop into production instruments.

Wow... you guys make some nice instruments !!
I like that you keep it at 6 or 8 strings...
Less is more !!
I'm gonna check that website out some more a little later.

Mark... I would just call it Dragonfly, as you don't need any trouble or drama from those individuals who only believe in one instrument under G-d...

ixlramp made a point there on that Dragonfly thread which had me roaring with laughter [it was about intelligence...] and while I wanted to chime in, that's not a good forum for me, so I chose restraint 😉

I am impressed with what you are doing, and you are in South America I believe ??

I'll check out your website later tonight, but is it correct to assume you ship to the states ??

DF-Mark, updated, i was actually recently wondering what the best title would be and almost edited it to 'Dragonfly Tapping Instruments', so thanks for that.

Yes indeed! Usually international shipments are done with Fedex ... the only catch being that the client has to set it up online at their end. Unfortunately we don't have a Fedex office nearby so a local agent comes and picks the package up.
