Fantastic instrument !!! Aluminum "uni-body", frets are an integral part of the body, no more fret end anomalies due to wood shrinkage/expansion, no more wood grain exposure due to finishing issues. Adjustable nut (big fan of this feature), divided truss rods, and a whopper of a great feature - the passive pickups switch to active upon the detection of Phantom Power !!! Best Stick I've ever possessed !!!!

It has been interesting hearing about your inventory of touchstyle instruments. I too possess a Stick (#1697), a 12-String Satine model. I haven't touched it in years. One of the biggest difficulties for me is the narrow fretboard. My fingers just don't appreciate it. As a result, I've moved to the wider fretboards of the Megatar and Warr.

You've indicated that you possess both Megatars and a Stick, and it sounds like you play both in an active manner. What is your experience in making the transition between the narrow and the wide fretboards?

Don

Transitioning between fretboard widths doesn't bother me, my biggest "problem" is transitioning between one instrument and the next, i'm constantly rotating thru all of my instruments and must retrain to tunings, string spacings and gauges, scale lengths, pickup configurations, instrument weights, playing styles and just about anything else you can imagine. This a passionate hobby of mine and I absolutely love all of my instruments. Right when i'm getting too used to one I switch to another, bad practice one might say, but i'm happier than the proverbial "pig in shit", and that's all that matters to me !!

Not a fair question. All of my current instruments are the best.

Should've kept the M&M ADG-10 and the Bamboo Dual MIDI Grand Stick [bawl]
