Festival "Ars TapGuitar 2006"

Hello Tappers,

there is coming up a big tapevent this year:

the "Ars TapGuitar 2006"

1. International Tap-Guitar-Festival in Germany.

organized by the Neue Akademie Braunschweig it will take place on 14. October 2006 in Braunschweig/Germany.

On Thursday before , the 12. October 2006, there will be on Introductory Event, a lecture with the topic: History and Developpement of the Tapguitar

Executive tapartists of the Concert Event on 14. October will be Markus Reuter, Ron Baggerman, Daniel Schell and Mathias Sorof with their projects. On goal of this event is, to bring the music ,created with tapping, to a broad audience. But it will be also interesting for tappers.

The festival shall happen every year with changing artists and projects to bring tappers to audience.

The event is supported by
Kulturinstitut der Stadt Braunschweig,
the Stiftung (Donation) Braunschweigischer Kulturbesitz
and the Niedersächsische Lottostiftung(Lottodonation)

it's great that finally something like this is happening in germany.
The choice of artists is also great. Of course there're some more which I really like to see, like Trey Gunn or Jim Lampi. Anyway,
how much are the tickets?

Hi Alex,

thanks for your staement. We will see, what future brings. The festival shall happen every year with changing artists.
The tickets will cost €15,- regular and € 11,- reduced (for students etc.) at the box office and €13/€9 if you order the tickets before. I think, the tickets will be available after the 16th august at http://www.ticketonline.de
