Very nice. The novak frets actually make the body look better. But it's not real until you post specs and sound clips.
Until I hear sound clips, I'll just have to assume that you are very clever at photoshop. :)
What are all those knobs and switches anyways?
Edit: how do the fanned frets compare to the non-fanned?

Congratulations Ernie
Is PRIME the official name of your Toneweaver model? How long have you owned the TrueTapper Megatar?

Well it depends on how Traktor feels. I feel wholeheartedly that Prime is the best name for this instrument model. Once again, I'll get all into the specs once I put it down!!
Hard to type and groove!

Never did answer this question.
I've owned the True Tapper tappily (get it?) for 3 years. I also own two Chapman Sticks (since 1987).
This new Toneweaver Prime is serious stuff. Active Pickups, separate outputs per side, etc.
Oh yeah!!
Funkiness personified indeed.

I gotta admit. The fanned frets, and the dark woods and pickup board and the black pickups makes the megatar look very slick. (i mean that in a positive way!) i dont think lite maple has anything to do on a guitar neck. My opinion. It just looks like cheap somehow!
I'd really like som feedback on what it is like to play on those fanned frets! It looks like trouble, but from what i've heards it's not so bad.
Also, some more sound samples from the megatar would be highly appreciated.

Fanned frets are dreamy indeed. Just close your eyes and be happy!
You really just play normally and life gets better, much better. And yes, all of those details you mentioned are fun. Which is why we call it - PRIME!
Sound clips are on their in a little bit - HEY - IT'S THE END OF SUMMER!!!!!!

This is an example of my friend's reaction when they see my Toneweaver Prime for the first time.
I know I'm silly, but I just love my Megatars.

Trust me when I say - you will love it.
As I do - and I have some guitars that are dreamy sounding too. These two instruments just up the tonal treasures I possess.
All will be forever pleased by the Toneweaver Prime.
Since I'm not much of an effects user, I think you will be pleased.
Groove on!

Can any one of Marley's pickups be turned off independently of the other three of will there always be at least one Bass and one Melody Side pickup active ??

Marley has only 1 9 volt. It's located in the back of the instrument - I'll take some photos of that.
The pickups are always on. I didn't get too crazy with that, although I did think about it. I like the idea of having all pickups >>available<< and using the volume and tone knobs to get the "other tones" depending on the gear I'm using - which is also simple - two old guitar effects units!
Once again - sounds will be forthcoming.

I recently posted two MP3 recordings that Ernie Jackson (jamsire) sent me.
One is on the ToneWeaver (bass and melody strings, tuned as 'BassBottom'), and the other is on his Dragon (bi-melody stringing and tuning).
Ernie is a funkmeister, has in fact written at least one book about funk, and you'll find these funky, funky recordings online here --
