Here's something that might be of interest to some folks here. Now and again there are discussions here about the Buzz Feiten Intonation System, and there have been discussions about tuners and precision tuning.
I got an email today that Peterson has a new tuner that is software only. Appears to be $50 for standard, and $80 for a version that has Feiten and some other sweetened tunings built in. I haven't seen or heard this but it seems kind of cool.
It appears to use the 'Virtual Strobe' technology they developed for the little blue tuner (VS-1), but it runs on your computer. I didn't read up but I guess it takes its signal from your sound card, perhaps.
