It's true, you've never seen this particular Treblebass, but you did point out once that it was on eBay last year. As a matter of fact, it was the purchase of this instrument that led me to find this site last year and talk to you about it.

Not seeking any additional endorsements, just pointing out this is not as unknown a quantity as people might think.

I've always wondered two things about the S-T-B,


At fret 12, from center of outer string, to center of outer string, how wide is the neck?


Also, how would you rate the height of action between the strings and frets at Fret 12? Dime? Nickel? Quarter? I am referring to the lighter-guage strings, the heavier ones will often be a little higher.

My goal has always been dime thickness at fret 12 for lighter strings, quarter thickness for the heaviest ones.

I would say the width is around an inch.

Naturally, the action is lower on the treble side. I'd say it's a dime versus a quarter. I estimate it could be lower still.
