Hi everybody. My name is Adi and i am a classical guitar student. I recently discovered King Crimson ( How generic, huh? :) and i became very interested in the touch-style of playing the instrument. However, i am a little uncertain of the change to a warr guitar ( i would looooove to get one ) from a classical (tuned normally) and electric ( also tuned normally ). I know that you have probably heard this a gazzeeeelion times :( but can you please tell me more of you own changes to from regular to tap? I would appreciate every bit of expirience you want to share with me. :) Thanks upfront! :) :) :)

Hi Adi,

I played acoustic guitar for almost 40 years, before seeing Bob Culbertson (www.stickmusic.com) playing at a street fair, about two years ago. I had never heard of this sort of method of playing guitar before...never heard of the Chapman Stick, or the Warr Guitar, or anything else.

I got a used Stick, and it is a lot of fun to play.

Playing via two-handed tapping....I don't know if it is any "better", but it sure is a lot of fun!
