I'm not sure if this strictly belongs in here, but I wanted to aim it specifically at players of specialist tapping instruments.
I was just curious to find out what kind of music peeps out there are playing on their sticks, warrs, megatars, etc...
Obviously, there's a bias towards progressive music (hands up anyone who didn't come to touchstyle after seeing/hearing Tony Levin) but I know that there's loads going on.
For myself, I play an 8 string (and some 4 string bass) and sing lead vox in a rock/punk/emo (current critic-ese for it is 'post-hardcore') 3 piece - "The remedy". I'll get an mp3 up as soon it's done in a couple of weeks time.
I'm particularly interested to hear about people playing touchstyle as part of a band and how they find fitting in around guitarists (and everyone else, but guitarists are always more vocal with their opinions, in my experience).
Cheers, Thom...
