Last month for a few hours, and again over the last few days, the Tappistry.Org server has been offline intermittently.
At first the techs in the network facility thought it was a NIC (network interface card) problem, but after replacing the NIC twice, on the next bomb they took a better look. (NIC cards are extremely stable, and unlikely to fail three times in a row.)
They have found and repaired a faulty network connector, and presumably we should once again enjoy better reliability for Tappistry.Org.
