(thread split from Swapmeet --23/3/2005 rockola)

Not to date myself, but for those of you who have seen Hair

This is the dawning of the Age of Megatarius,
The Age of Megatarius,
Megatarius,
MEGATARIUS!:D

I saw Hair.

It was in a theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, as I recall, with a somewhat circular stage.

Oddly enough, that same month, a pretty young lady came to have lunch with me and my roommate, John Hill, who knew her back in Houston, growing up. She was the choreographer for the play. Somehow, knowing she'd choreographed the play and its nude scene, made the luncheon oddly erotic.

Now you know.

Let us all chant the Mantra Of Reality:

Just to keep this thread completely random, I had a friend who would warm up the choir by having them sing a repeated "Q"-"FAH" up and down some scales.

Hi, my name is Pho and I'm forum-challenged.

Sorry, RJ...didn't mean to hijack that other thread..your Megatarian comment just made the melody to Hair stick in my head.

Dallis?

You are from Dallis? Big-D?

Little o? Dubba-LA-es? Dallis?

I was also from Dallis. Twice't.

You can find many examples on The Adventures of Bloggard in Dallas (http://www.bloggard.com/blog/?query=Dallas&amount=0&blogid=3) . You might particularly enjoy "The Texas-Oklahoma Game," "Joe Bob Briggs and the Dallas Crimes Herald," "The Wild Speedometer," "The Man Who Ran Over Himself," "Ronald Reagan Visits," "Carnaby Street," "The Abandoned Road," "Band of Thieves," and "Death and Phil Nimmo."

Stop the madness!
End Daylight Savings Time (http://www.standardtime.com/)

I stopped resetting my watch in 1996.

The TX-OK game is crazy. I live very near to the Cottonbowl. Last year I woke up to a parade at 8AM on New Years Day. Not the best way to start off the year.

I know a woman who claims to have been in the original cast of Hair. Now well into her mid-50s, and about as wide as she is tall, I can only surmise that she has passed from the Age of Aquarius, to the Age of Derierre-ius (or even perhaps Megaderierreius).

Oh, yeah?

Well, here's my 1966 Daylight Savings Time Story (http://www.bloggard.com/blog//item/186).

I hope that it brings enlightenment and delight to you, as it once did to me.

That's why I brought it up. Very funny. Think of the countless hours of wake lost every year by musicians who are just finishing their gigs when the time changes.

I also like the stories about San Francisco. They are all too familiar.
3304 Geary Blvd (http://www.bloggard.com/blog//item/147) and Wacko (http://www.bloggard.com/blog//item/239)

RJ, "The Age of Derierre-ius " sounds like a great title for a magazine article on obesity, or a funk album.

This random-content thread has been languishing, and seems just the spot to announce the Resurrection of The Adventures of Bloggard (http://www.bloggard.com). I mention it for those as may be interested.

As some may remember, about a year ago the Tappistry server was hijacked in order to send important spam to the needy in Brazil and Portugal, and in so doing, on the same server, the Bloggard's weblog of over 400 tiny micro-stories to tickle your gitzle (http://www.bloggard.com/blog/archives/3) was broken.

Well, it's back.

HEY, good to see the blog on-air again.

Also i was a little worried since i didn't see any instruments in the ebay shop for a long while. But the blog said on dec. 4th: "A major upgrade in the Megatar shop is nearing completion, installing machinery of greater precision and volume, because we were falling behind on orders."

Sounds like a good thing!

A brief weather report on our shop upgrade: Fair and warm, and the first peek of the new season, having done our first complete production test, successfully.

Still some tweaking to do, and work to do in the finish department, but the first (test) instrument came off the cutting line yesterday, and looked pretty darn good.

Those who know me will know that our shop philosophy is to always work carefully and mindfully rather than pushing to go fast. Only careful work seems to produce the best results.

Happy to report: Progress steady and generally on schedule.

Hey Trak, this is great news! I had noticed a few months ago, that there were no more Dark Dragons and Super Blondes on your eBay store. Glad to know that work at the Lab is progressing.
