A link to a sound file from my homebrew tap guitar project "Prototype 2" is listed below.

It is an 8-string unit, 4 strings in 5ths, 4 strings in 4ths. Uncrossed tuning, 34" scale.

For now, it is a mono unit, with a Carvin H50 N bass pickup.

I'm thinking of getting a DiMarzio Split P DP127 pickup set, and making a stereo unit out of it. The DiMarzio is supposed to have a higher output.

No pictures are forthcoming until either Prototype 3 or 4. By then, hopefully, my designs will be worthy to show to the public.

It sounds great man! Too bad we cant see any pics of it...
Do you have any body on this instrument, or is it a stick-like design with just the neck?

However, if you have *any* protective plans (copyrights, design patent, utility patent, trade secret), then it's best to disclose no details or pix until those things are successfully filed, as publication can void these protections.

Well, Traktor has inflicted the Megatar upon the world, so I wouldn't worry about your designs :D
