A most rare musical instrument

Knowing my interest in unusual musical instruments, my dear and longsuffering wife, yesterday, for my 50th birthday, presented me with a most rare musical instrument...the Double Contra Contrapassoondolin.

Well, if you do, you'll have to negotiate directly with "management" on any design claims she has on it. Just don't invite her out to Mt. Shasta, she may not come back to North Dakota if she saw the scenery out there.

Did you ask your wife how much it cost? Are you sure there weren't any hidden price labels on the rhythm section?

It's hard to figure out the cost, but the basic "frame" came from a cardboard box holding a ceramic lizard that was given to her as a gift from a friend in Spain...so it is indeed an exotic instrument.
