Apparently Sergio Santucci is back in production with the Treblebass.
Daniel Schell received a fax from Mr. Santucci a few days ago, with a picture and a list of features of the instrument. For those who have just tuned in, the Treblebass is a 10-string guitar-scaled tapping instrument, with 6 guitar and 4 bass strings.
The contact info is as follows: Phone/Fax (212) 302-6805, email sanbass(AT)hotmail.com
Some details: neckthrough 5-piece maple with alder body wings; ebony fretboard with 24 frets and 704 mm scale (27.7"); active pickups (separate for treble/bass); tremolo bridge (possibly for just the guitar strings, hard to tell from the faxed picture); available in 6 solid colors; weight 3,9 kg (8.6lb). No indication of the price is given.
