On behalf of the Tappistry team, I would like to impersonate Elvis in this rendition of a famous song:

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday, dear Traktor
Happy birthday to you!

Well, if you want proof that Elvis is alive...just look at Traktor's patent for the Meg Strap. I swear that that is a picture of Elvis holding the Megatar.

Happy Birthday, Traktor!

P.S. It is patent number: 6,359,203

Yes, I would like to confirm that Glenn Drakeley, citizen of New Jersey, is the acknowledged all-time champion Megatar collector, owning a vast number of megatars, including a number of original first-run models.

Let's hear it for Glenn!

RJ,

Yep, 3 Megatars ! One BluesBuster equipped, one QuadBart ToneWeaver and one MidiTapperTwin (tuned standard Megatar melody on both sides). In fact I liked the BluesBuster pickup array so much I had my Box JC35 equipped with a similar configuration (same tuning and number of M/B pickups, different pickup brand assortment of course). ToneWeaver takes a bit of finger position readjustment on the part of my fat stubby fingers after playing either of the other two, likewise going back to the others after playing ToneWeaver for awhile !! QuadBarts are the perfect pickups for the ToneWeaver. Jury's still out on the MidiTapper, far too much for me to learn about MIDI stuff, that combined with my fledgeling tapperness keeps my head spinning ala Linda Blair !!!

I've been dabbling in Sarangi for awhile now too, no words to explain my experiences with it so far other than I quite often laugh at my playing to the point of almost ****ing myself !!!!

More when the need presents itself......

Glenn

I had no idea what a 'sarangi' was, but I found a picture.

Yeah, the one on the left. Of course, they sound better with the Feiten system installed...
