I found this computerized odeling amp on the internet for free. I dont know if anyone has heard of this before but all you do is load the program plug in your guitar in the microphone jack and load a patch. Then you can play through the speakers with an endless combination of effects. Almost every parameter is editable. I tried this with my bass and it is awsome especially because i dont have the money for an expesive line six or behringer. go to www.guitarfx.net for download.

I installed the app on my laptop and it works wonderfully. It is very easy to setup and use. For a quick and dirty processor it is hard to beat.

I don't see any indication that this is an amp modeler. I think it's a multi-effects processor. Great find though. Thanks for posting.

This thing (GuitarFX) has 3 different distortion units (second sounded similar to Marshall AVT-50) and 16 bands EQ wich from my point of view suitable to "model" my speaker cabinet. It does his job realisticaly! Recomended to try!
