Traktor,

What happened to your book? I just remembered a couple of days ago and I'm curious about it...
Sorry to start a new thread for this, but the orignal one (http://tappistry.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2390) turned into a flame war ;)

Cheers, Daniel.

PS: By the way, it has been a long time since your last post, I hope you are doing fine.

Hi,

Easy Touch-Style Improv was completed and went on sale, and has been available on http://learn-mobius-megatar.com and the EBay Megatar Store (http://stores.ebay.com/megatarstore/) for quite some time now.

Here's a writeup which describes it --
Book Four - Improvisation (http://learn-mobius-megatar.com/improvisation/)

I'm glad you asked this question, because when I looked it up, I discovered that the Learn-Mobius-Megatar site and even the Megatar site did not have the descriptions (though EBay does). So I've udated the Learn-Mobius-Megatar site, and the Megatar site will automatically update the next time it's uploaded.

Thanks for calling this to my attention ...

and anybody who wants to learn a remarkably easy way to improvise, this is it. I've seen nothing like it. Far easier to understand and do than the Berklee "chordstyles" method, and far smoother sounding than Charlie Parker's improvisation method.

You know, it was the desire to learn to improvise that drove me to learn to play. That was the one thing I wanted to do the most. And I tried and tried and tried, using the chordscales method. And I just sucked. (Couldn't think and play fast enough to navigate the chord changes.)

The method developed by Werner Pohlert, which I've adapted to touchstyle play, uses only ONE chord form (which you already know from our books), and then applies five simple substitution rules ... and off you go.

You can actually see a very short example of this in my touchstyle-intro video on our site, because there I demonstrate seven basics, and the next-to-last one is improvisation, and I'm using this method. It's very short, but if you'd like to see it, visit here -> Two-Handed Tapping Improvisation Method (http://megatar.com/english/touchstyle/Tutorial/tutorial.html)

Again, thanks for bringing up this question!
