After over 80 inches of snow, we are facing another flood here in Fargo. I don't think the flood will set a record, but it is already the 4th highest on record, and might reach the 2nd highest by Sunday. I don't think there is any risk for me at my home. My house sits at about 40-41 feet relative elevation, the river is supposed to crest at 39.5 feet, and there is a 4-foot temporary dike between my house and the river (100 yards away).
I've lived through three "100-year" and one "500-year" floods now, which statistically makes me almost as old as Traktor.
The city seems to have floods figured out by now, but the rural people have it bad, with a lot of roads/culverts washed out and homes surrounded with water.
