What do you call what we do?

Are we touch-stylists? Tappists? Stickists? Warrists? Megatarists?

Seems bassists and guitarists have an easier time with this. It would be so much easier to say "I play stick." Should the word "Stick" be used in the same way that all facial tissue are called Kleenex? Or should we come up with a new terminology for this art form? (and avoid potential lawsuits?;) )

I know it's all just semantics, but I just don't feel comfortable telling non-musicians that I am a touch stylist. They will think I'm a sicko.:D

I use the terms "tap guitar" and "tap guitarist". It's a guitar, so why beat around the bush. I understand "touchstyle" is also popular. I don't play a Stick(TM), so I don't claim to do so. What's more, I never felt comfortable calling myself a "Stick player" even when I played it. I certainly don't call myself a "Korg player" or "Yamaha player" just because I happen to have instruments where that's written on them.

And by the way: facial tissue is certainly not called Kleenex around here. You'd get nothing but blank stares going to a store and asking for some Kleenex.
