I want to know if rising half step to a string the sound card also rises half step using the midi Pick-ups.

How the pitch moves is completely dependent upon the midi brain and the settings you've chosen.

The basic midi brain must examine the string's vibrating frequency and determine (by the closest frequency) what "note" you are playing. That means that, normally, if you bend the string the notes will "pop" from one note to the next note.

However, there are several exceptions. In some cases, the brains can be set to "portamento", meaning it glides from one note to the other. Also I've noticed using Roland's GR-33 synth (includes brain and synth) that many of the patches sound very normal, as if this problem is solved -- for example their 'fretless' patch seems to glide between pitches. However, I've not examined these patches and don't know how it's done.

Another thing: The VG88 or similar brains are not using midi at all. They use the actual output of a hex pickup and build the waveform atop that basic string frequency, so this kind of unit tracks exactly the pitch of the string, whether on the not or off the note or moving around. But of course this is not a true midi, which is both a strength (flawless tracking) and a weakness (cannot trigger other sound modules). However, in the search for other sounds, you'd probably enjoy examining this beast if you've not already.
