Two years after the introduction of the harpejji d1, Marcodi has come out with a far superior successor, the harpejji k24. Here is a link to the Marcodi forum which describes the improvements:

The most significant of the improvements is electronic muting on each string individually, which allows you to strum/ bang/ pluck the fretted strings without worrying about exciting the open strings.
