Hey there everybody,this website is like a godsend to an old man like myself.Im 58 yrs old,closer to 59 hah,and live in Las Vegas NV I currently own a warr phalanx,which I got just to spite the ex wife! Actually I had seen trey gunn in crimson here in 2003,and KC being my favorite band of all time,I had to figure out just what was that, and I wanted one!!!.Spent about two weeks just looking at it,and after almost a year,s time starting to understand it,and getting around a little on it...It may seem like a long time,but I was laid of last oct ,right after I got the thing,so it took a back seat,if you know what I mean:eek:..Anyway life,s a whole lot better now and started to pick the thing up and and found a guitar teacher who is interested inteaching me the thing...Funny thing is there is a another guy in town name rick wade who is a monster on this thing and i finally got to meet him at a blues gig!So he also is taking me under his wing for free to teach me.. Anyway just a few more things to bore you with and I.ll depart.Are there any books,videos out there for this stuff?And anymore touch style players here in vegas? ricky and I think we are the only two in vegas or in the state,i know we gotta be the only two black guys around!!1lol anyway thanks ,all the help I can get,I am eternally grateful for whatever you play!!!
