Glenn, you were an amazing customer to work with and were even very understanding of our confusion on when we should ship it, we can't thank you enough. We're glad everything is to your liking and can't wait to retrofit it once we finalize and finish our magnetic pickup system within a few months. Hopefully at that point it will sound even more beautiful than it looks.
Also, we had no idea if it was actually going to look good or bad when we started working with the Teak you ordered, but after carving into the back of the instrument, you can see the grain wave from side to side as the depth increases, pretty amazing wood. Glad you gave us the chance to work with it as we would have never known this before. Especially the color differences from light gold to dark brown.
Sad that it has to be packed up again, but hopefully you had a chance to play and experiment a lot before your move. Good luck with the move, we'll keep you updated on all our current and future retrofits and parts.
PS: We're simultaneously designing a new bridge to meet the new magnetic pickup system, it's not a necessary upgrade, but hopefully it will make intonating a little easier. And it's free as well since you've already purchased an instrument.
Take care and keep tapping, we'll keep you updated. Thanks again.

Edit: I really love the last shot you took of the instrument. I must have 100 pictures of it already from the build and even I had to save that photo.

A late thanks rjgoos for the tinyurl.
Its so cool to see tapping instruments develop, watching history being made in our lifetime is unique when it comes to a new instrument and technique. To bad the same thing can't be said about some players "tudes" but, its all about the music that speaks as it should be.

Took some time on the computer today while I was waiting for an instrument to finish curing from lamination and put together a new Model II shot featuring Glenn's non-slanted instrument (I believe it's the first Model II since the redesign that we've made without a 45 degree slant/fingerboard extension)

Thought it might be helpful to prospective buyers to help them see the difference in our promotional photos vs the actual instruments. The shots that Glenn took were great examples of what you'll see when you recieve your instrument, whereas the shot I have included above is what you will most likely see on our webstore. If you're ever looking for more detailed and/or natural visuals of our instruments, feel free to message me and I will do my best to find some unaltered shop photos to send you of any part or whole you are looking for to help you make your decision.
