Does anyone have a box guitar?
What's the tapping like?
It doesn't look like the angle is very forgiving for the tapper, like stick or megatar.
Also, can these be strung like a stick? With inverted bass?

notapper,
I own and play four Box Guitars, a JC35, a JCB34, an LM, and an SRB640. One is tuned standard Megatar, one is tuned double Megatar Melody, and the two short scalers are tuned double standard Guitar. The only "issue" I have would be with string spacing, I have fat stubby fingers so a wider string spacing would suit me better. The two long scalers are heavy !! They tap as well as any other tapper i've tried, and even better than some. They all sound great, the short scalers uniquely so. They all can be restrung in any tuning you choose, inverted bass included. Stuart did a fantastic job on the four models I have tried, maybe we'll see a new model or two in 2009 !!!!

I play a Warr Artist 10 in "Stick" standard tuning, and ADG 8 in 4ths from D up, a Box SRB-640 in twin guitar, and have a Warr Artist 8 in 4ths from B up on order, set to arrive soon! You can adjust the angle of the Box any way you please, just like the other instruments. I started in a guitar position and have been gradually moving the angle up to more of a 2 o'clock position. Your selection of strap, of course, is important.
The SRB-640 is well built, a joy to play, and sounds great. Mine is very light weight. I enjoy the twin guitar setup, it allows me to create huge, wide, and dense chord structures. I've also found Stu to be a pleasure to deal with; he's very responsive and customer service oriented.

Even the short scale?
Can the 25 inch scale SRB be tuned down into inverted bass tuning without neck warp or intonation issues?

notapper,
There's nothing to prevent you from stringing up limited range bass on the SRB640, i'd have to try it to check neck warpage and intonation. Short scale length bass is the reason I sold my Santucci TrebleBass so I wouldn't permanently restring my short scalers.
