Hi again.

My ponderings from half a year ago finally bore fruit, so now I am waiting for a tapper to arrive.

It is a 12 string one that uses two pickups, so I can have two effects chains. Right now I have a Zoom B2 multieffect and a KORG AX1500G multieffect, and I might use those at first, and then take the signal to a mixer, and then to headphones.

But I have considered getting some new toys to go with the tapper:
BEHRINGER DSP2024P VIRTUALIZER PRO
BEHRINGER MIC2200 ULTRAGAIN PRO

Both are 2-in-1, so I can connect both the tapper pickups to them at once. They are cheap, at least when compared to what else is available around here. And they have received pretty ok reviews when I heave looked around on the net.

But does anyone have any opinions/comments for their suitability for tapping?

I own the virtualizer. For the price it is great. Does lots of cool stuff, EQ, compression, amp / cab modeling, delay / reverb, vocoder, etc. I think it would be cool to have four of them since it will only do one or two effects at once. It is midi controllable so I could see putting four of these together. It is a line level device, so your guitar will need a preamp before going into this.

For tapping I am thinking more about two modeler pedals ( I really love the Yamaha Magic Stomp - no longer made) or the new Line 6 pedal that can process two seperate audio streams at once.
