Tying up a few loose ends.
Several years ago, I had a web page with some information on Jimmie Webster, and two MP3s of excerpts from his album. The server I had the page on went down, and I didn't get around to making a new page for a while.
I re-did the page about six months ago, and it can be seen at:

Thanks RJGoos, how I wish I had an original record of this...
Do you have idea when was this filmed?:

For sure somebody filmed Webster. Also sure Lorca's voice was recorded on tape somewhere in Argentina, but never appeared...
Saludos.

Geocities goes off-line in a few days.
It is my guess that Jean German's original Jimmie Webster site will go off-line as well. I've lost contact with Jean, and she hasn't returned e-mail for a long time.

Siggi is on Geocities as well...I hope he finds a new host!

I've set aside a copy of Jean Germain's page. (I too am not and never have been Jean Germain, and do not know who she is, and have never spoken with her in any medium.)
Pity to lose this info when Geocities is closed down.
Anyone hears from Jean, then assuming that the file survives on our server over the weeks, months, or years, then she can have the site whenever she wishes. In the meantime, her Geocities page and files are stored here --

(ps: the mp3 files would not correctly download for me, the download attempt getting a yahoo 'service not available' error. If anyone can correctly grab the three mp3 files about 75% down the page, please send them to me and I'll store them, and repair the links.)

I was sent the three mp3 files and have copied them onto the safety backup copy of these pages, so you can now hear them.
My favorite is the first one, "Mist," though they're all pretty good, and amazing to consider they were recorded in (I think) the 1950's.
Which do you like the most?
