Hi guys. I found a recording of a StarBoard where the instrument is just used to provide simple chords accompanying a reggae song. Nothing spectacular, but the sound is pretty good, so it gives a good idea what the StarrBoard sounds like in that role.

Great clip John. It makes me want to start recording some reggae songs. Very cool. What affects were you using? Any amps?
Sounds like a little reverb.

Thanks. That was recorded a loooong time ago so I am not sure of what effects, but it was straight into the board. It sounds like there might be a little bit of flanger on there and some reverb. I think the organ solo was by Pete Wasner, who is now a big time Nashville songwriter and Vince Gill band member, and drums by Ernie Crews.
