Cleaning house to make room for a new arrival!

------------------------------------------------------------------
2000 Mobius Megatar MaxTapper Dual - $400 obo

It was converted to be half fretless (not a pro job) and banged around by previous owners. I intended to refret and refinish the instrument but never got around to it, and frankly don't have the skill/time.

If you have a moderate amount of luthier skills and some time, this is your chance to get a MaxTapper for very little $$$.

Pics available. Comes with MegStrap and soft case.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Carvin Redline 600w Series III amp - $275 obo

At less than $0.50/watt this amp gives you more power and flexibility for your dollar than anything else out there.

Tube/Solid state preamp blend
Semi-parametric and graphic EQ
Compressor
Bi-Amp
Adjustable DI
To many backpanel options to list.
The amp was mounted in a Carvin 210 cab which I am keeping. It is in great shape with no scratches or any other functional issues. The Series III resolved the reliability problems of earlier Carvin amps and I have used this on many gigs and rehearsals with no issues.

Pics Available.

Is this Instrument still available? Is it playable as is? Could you post or e-mail pics.

I have used it in a few rehearsals as is, but I really think it needs a re-fret to be considered playable. The neck is straight, but the fretless side of the fingerboard needs to be planed, and the frets on the fretted side are lifting. All of this can be fixed, and a refin would get rid of the scratches.

I am open to offers on this one. Try me.

It is now in my possesion and it does need some TLC. I do not consider it playable, but that is what I expected.

I am very excited about this project as I think it will stretch my luthier skills while staying within the realm of my skill set.

I will start a thread when I dive into her - probably the beginning of the year when things calm down a bit.

I plan on doing a refret and a refinish. The fretless part has had the slots filled in, so I am going to have to recut the groves or replace the fingerboard.

Thanks PhoBucket :)
