I lOVE Alembic guitars. I have a Baritone Orion that is the blueprint for all baritones!

Clear as lucite I betcha! Here are their

Oooooooooooooh!pickups/ preamps (http://www.alembic.com/prod/pickups.html) as well.

Anyone use these pickups in anything they have personally built or customized?

I think they're a little pricey as well.

a friend of mine has an Alembic Epic, which is probably their least fancy bass, and it plays and sounds like a dream. i'd Love to get one eventually
