amp set which way to go

what would be best, so coarse matter of opion but much needed. so here we go rack set up with a cab for bass & 1 for melody, rack with 1 cab, keyboard amp, a bass combo & guitar combo, ect ect? please need a guide to the soundwave ocean.

depends on your style of music, size of venue, etc. but with a lot of fairly inexpensive powered pa systems hitting the market, i'm thinking about going that route. some have built-in effects. but i'm also thinking of getting a dedicated laptop for software dsp and effects. speakers, again depends on the above and how much you want to schlep around.
