After much soul searching and some urging from my wife, I have decided to sell my Megatar MaxTapper Dual (this is not the midi enabled one in my Videos). I need some money to help cover the costs of building my own tapper and to purchase some much needed equipment, specifically a planner.
The MaxTapper was made in June 2000. It has the Bartolini pickups, Gaph Tech “string saver” nut and saddle, Rosewood fingerboard, and what I believe is a Mahogany body.
I am the second owner. The first owner hardly played it and neither have I, so the frets are in good condition. The finish is a little cloudy at the headstock and on the sides and my guess is that it came this way from the factory.
The only modification I have made is moving one of the strap buttons to my preferred location. As a result there is an extra screw hole.
Comes with the softshell gig bag and a stereo cable.
Asking $1,000 + shipping (probably around $50.00 via USPS Priority Mail)
It will go on E-bay in a few weeks if there are no nibbles here.
