But don't be envious. They are just like any other family - needy and loud. And they take up a lot of space!

Que Bella Familia! (just guessing at Italian here).

You've got 100 strings in that pic. D'Addario must love you.

I actually counted the strings after I read your comment.

Darn!

I'm actually a Dean Markley endorser!

But only the Box Guitar and LapTapper benefit from that.

100 strings - wow.

Ernie,

I count 101 strings there! Are those your dalmatians?

Nice family by the way ;-)

Do you realize how early it is here? Do you realize how long it took me to get that joke? Do you know that I went to count again - because I am seriously stupid right now?

Very clever Daniel! Thanks for the compliment!

I be proud.

somewhere in that picture is one of those "how many touch guitars does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" jokes, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

I think you did "just put your finger on it."

Funny

Hey, is it just me or is the S.S. Oakland longer than the others? I know darn well it's heavier!!! And fully upholstered.

For a person, let's say in music therapy - this is great because according to my buddy Jim, a massage therapist, there is less strain on the arms and shoulders.

It is in fact - a great idea and instrument.

They are somewhat very dofferent from each other, so it really os a "I'm feeling this groove kind of thing."

i noticed you had both and was wondering if there was quite a difference between the active and passive barts on the megatar.

Hey - you know what?

I didn't even notice that myself!!

To me - the two Dark Megatars just sound different because of their physical build. The Maxtapper is straight forward, two Barts. Normal frets, etc. Very approachable right up front.

The Toneweaver is a super killer! Fanned frets, active, FOUR BARTS! Blah, blah. You have to have them both to appreciate their differences. Most of my friends gravitate towards the MaxTapper.

The Box is the sleeper!!!!!

The TapLadder is the next wave.

I just took advantage of Stu Box's offer for the SRB-640 deal. I'm plenty excited and should see the instrument in a couple of weeks. I noticed on Stu's website and MySpace page he doesn't show the instrument with a string dampener, which seemed strange to me. I assume that I'll put one on when I get the instrument. It's a little tough to tell in the family photograph, but it looks like you've added one. Am I seeing it right?

Thanks,

Loren

Yup!

The thickest sneaker shoe laces I had lying around.

They work great.

Thought so, thanks for the confirm. I've had great luck with shelving liner and Teddy Bear fur!

Man, do you have a higher resolution version of that? I'd totally use that as my desktop background. Not so much to show off someone else's instruments, that'd be weird, but specifically for the absolute panoply of touch instruments that it is.
Very nice.

YAY!

So hello everyone. I am getting rid of all my Megatars in one way or another. Making room for my new Carvin guitars and soon-to-be restorded Chapman Sticks! Uber-YAY!

In the picture attached - I am selling the True Tapper Dragon Gold (on the right) - with the Hardshell case for $600 firm. Warning it needs a setup really bad! Lord knows how it got messed up - INSIDE THE CASE, but it did. I'll even include the gig AS WELL!! Just to get it out of here!

I think I may keep the Toneweaver - it's fun at parties.

The original MIDI Tapper with the Photon System was a gift from a great guy, so I will keep that and let my friend's nephew get his hands on it.

I also have a Max Tapper (Maxine) that I will sell with a gig bag for $500 - it's in pretty good condition, so the price is firm there as well.

Shipping is included - no funny business. PayPal - yeah sure.

The quicker they go the "Tappier" you will be! Funny right?

A'ight - send me a PM.

OOOOOOOOH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely forgot to mention the True Tapper Storm is set up as a bi-melody! Just a misguided lapse of common sense at the time. You can still get it setup for any tuning you like once you get the instrument setup properly.

Ok - someone please buy this thing! eBay is really not where I'm headed with this.
