I wonder if the sustainer features would be useful for tapping.

Interesting.
For the price I think I will stick with my midi setup.
The "Collector Edition" model is an astounding $6,495.00

i got to play it at namm, damn its a hoss. it sustain to me is comparable to an E-Bow on every string.
there are so many features on this guitar that i really couldn't make much sence of it in the demo, but i know it will be a huge tool to those that can afford it.
here's to hoping that i win the raffle for it they were holding
i'll post a whole lot more when i have a long moment

I would like to hear your experiences. In the video, the guy was doing some tapping and I thought it was novel using the sustainers to not only sustain the notes that were played, but to also mute the notes not played. That could be useful on a tapper.

Bunker guitars have an 'electronic muter' here (http://www.bunker-guitars.com/hex_mute.html) . As I understood from the vid, the moog system will damp the strings not mute them...

This Moog guitar touches a bit of a raw nerve with me.
It seems like a rather generic hybrid of an Ibanez and a Brian Moore, with a tweaked alternative to a Fernandes Sustainer or Sustainiac system, which can also be reversed to mute the strings.
That alone does not make this as 'revolutionary' as they are claiming, and it certainly doesn't justify the ridiculous price.
I can only wonder if Robert actually had any input on the design of this thing before his untimely demise.

Kuno Wagner also has an Ultra Sustain Pickup
installed on his Warr, sadly I havn't heard it yet.
