Purchasing a Warr guitar

I was thinking about purchasing a warr guitar sometime in the near future, and i have a couple questions.

1. how are their payments taken care of? (how much up front/on completion)

2. About how long does it take until an instrument is completed?

In my case they asked $1000 at time of order with the remainder due at shipping. As these are made-to-order custom instruments you will have a lot of choices to make regarding the woods, tuning, and electronics. Depending on what you choose, it can take 4-6 months or longer. For example my TGSS 8-string bolt-on took 5 months. I believe that neck-throughs take longer.

The beautiful instrument is well worth the money and the wait.
