Hi Ernie
Well, I found recording to be a lot harder than just pluggin into a spring verb and plain'. So, yes and no. I recorded everything direct and added verbs latter. I have the hybrid stickup/Emg so I was able to make each song have it's own sound on the melody side. I really used the tone control a lot. I think I may try to mike an amp in the future for that real reverb sound. However I think You'll like the sounds I got on this Disc.
Thanks
Brett

That arrangement of Yesterday is very interesting and cool.

thanks guys
yes the "yesterday" arrangement is mine. Thats a very old recording I can barely listen to it anymore, but it has it's moments I will rerecord it one of these days with a couple of years of improvements. The arrangement is pretty "stick" standard with a few 7th chords and some substitutions that I like.

Hey Brett,
Have really been enjoying this CD! Definitely one of the most enjoyable jazz-oriented Stick albums I've heard in a very long time.
Still looking forward to giving it a "proper cranking" in the car as soon as time permits. (Amy's broken ankle has kept me in the house for a while, but I hope get in a good drive soon.)
All the best,
Alan
P.S. Thanks a lot for the kind welcome and encouraging words (on the other thread).
