Cool! Could this possibly be Jordan's new instrument? Hard to imagine...

..let's just say that Jordan is really digging his loaner unit and sending us designs for a custom harpejji (with inlaid Dream Theater symbol). That's all I can say right now. He is the kind of guy that likes to continually stretch himself, so that makes him an ideal candidate. Plus, he already has an eclectic assortment of instruments on stage every concert (continuum, lapsteel, Zen Riffer, etc.)

The great thing is that he would not have to stop playing keyboards. He could add the harpejji to his stage rig, just as he would add another keyboard.

Tappers, I think Jordan could really take tapping (harpejji, Stick, Megatar, Warr guitar) up a serious notch in the public eye. Let's see what happens and hope for some success...

I would love to see a Harpejji mounted on Jordans keyboard racks along with his Continuum Fingerboard and slide guitar - it could be the feature instrument of a Dream Theater song, like the Continuum in Octavarium

Cool vid. Is Jordan Rudess the guy who plays with his keyboards angled away from the body, towards the floor?

Never mind. It was this guy (http://www.dereksherinian.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2&pos=0). He played with Dream Theater in the 90s.
