Tapping and the VG88

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you could share your experience tapping through a Roland VG 88 in particular.

Or if anyone has heard from friends/relatives/read reviews on using this equipment with a tapping instrument. I am strongly considering picking one up but there isn't one in my town to check out.

I think Tappistry member Kuno Wagner has one, he certainly had the earlier version (VG-8?) which I think he upgraded. Perhaps he'll chime in with his experiences, I've only witnessed the space ship soundscapes as a listener.
