Passive-4 or Acitve-2 on a SB-8

I'm looking at getting a Stickbass SB-8 and wanted some advice on which pick-ups to get. Also I did give serious tought to the N/S stick, but I think I want a tapping only instrument. (and I like the look of the SB-8, silly I know :D)

Anybody advice would be most helpful.
