Just in case anyone was wondering, here are some photos of my Warr 11-string axe. I think the folks at Warr Guitars did a wonderful job on it - it sounds and looks great!

A question though - what kind of stand is everyone using? I found that the neck on my instrument is too wide for any of the instrument stands I could find in shops. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Mark

I use a standard guitar stand for my 12 strings Belgrado TipTar. I've just distored the part where the neck is placed !

you should get a A-frame guitar stand that doesnt even touch the neck... www.quiklok.com works great for me with a phalanx12

Thanks for the tips!

The A Frame (not Quiklok) I have at home isn't very stable with the Warr, but it looks like the Quiklok is more verticle, whereas mine slants back a lot - so maybe that accounts for the difference in stability.

Thanks!

That's a really nice instrument! Congratulations.

I use a standard guitar stand and have bent the prongs on the top out so the neck fits. It holds my 12-string perfectly. It's one of those $15 Guitar Center On-Stage Stands. It's stable, solid and works just fine for me. I also use an extra large rubber band to hold the neck in place so it doesn't fall out if I bump into it.

Thanks to Dave. G. for posting the photo of Blondie. That was the first guitar I had tuned in the uncrossed 4ths, which convinced me to go that way in my playing. It has a great twangy tone because of the ash body, and lots of lows.
I also thought Mark Rendes instrument was particularly beautiful, when I was preparing it for shipping. It has a real Alembic vibe to it because of the wood choices.
Enjoy guys!
