Line 6 Bass Products

Hi All, this is my first post on tappistry though I've been lurking for a short while.

I bought the original Line 6 POD when it first came on the market, upgraded to the Version 2 firmware when it was released and have only just upgraded to the XT live (guitar). All incarnations so far have proved great fun with excellent sounds and very reliable but I only have the guitar side of things to go on.

What are your experiences of Bass POd in its incarnations. I'm interested to know as I hope to buy a Megatar soon and hope to use a Bass POD of one kind or another as the front end of the bass channel.

I use the Line 6 Bass PodXT live (rackmount) with my 8 string Warr. Love it. A tweaker's dream. Tons of great features like blending dry signal with effected, amp model bypass, noise gate is a huge plus, great effects (although some are useless). I use it after an Avalon U5, and before my power amp.
