How many members of Tappistry.org using 5th-, NST- or Crafty-tuning. I hope to see some of you in Belgium next summer.

P.S. in some parts of the world it is 2003 now, for all the others:

So who else is going? This year will be the eighth year in a row for me. And I still haven't learned to play Va et Vient in position 4! :D

Expect me to be there. I'm a 19 years old guitarist from Switzerland in the process of buying a used 12string Warr.
If the deal goes down fine, I'll be in Belgium.

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Hi Happy Tappers,

You are still welcome to take your inscriptions to the E-Tap Seminar 2003, however be aware that there no more rooms available in the Academy.
The Seminar is a success this year, so we shall have fun and ...good tapping science!
If you decide to join, Claudia will try to find you a private room in Neufchâteau, ar a place in the camping.

See you at the Tap Night, Brussels, Arts-O-Base, July 7th.

It's now August, and it seems like we've survived another E-Tap. Some highlights of this year:
- Night of the Tap Guitar in Brussels broke attendance records and featured lots of interesting artists, such as Centrozoon
- Weather in Neufchateau was better than probably ever, nothing but sunshine all week
- Thanks to the great weather, frequent swimming trips
- Less waiting at the bar (and, from what I hear, shorter queues at the cafeteria)
- The Joe Conti Show, playing most nights in the bar for a thrilled audience (thanks to Joe for letting me & Ray fill in the missing Smoke on the Water lyrics)
- Andre Pelat's always amazing classical music interpretations
- Wolfgang's Guinness Record Book entry for "most strings on a tap guitar" ie. his 17-string Turbo Surfboard, lovingly hand-built by Siggi
- Final night's Shona music, plus the reappearance of Asturias after 7 years

A pictorial report will appear in September on www.tapguitar.com. (Editor's note: It's there now.) Remember to make room in your calendar for E-Tap 2004 in Belgium!
