Mother Nature gave us quite an April Fool gift...a blizzard!

This morning, it was -10 C, and this was the view outside of my front door:

Yup, that's the view in Fargo.

The slope of the land around Fargo is less than one foot per mile, quite literally. Fargo and Winnipeg are on the same river (which flows north towards Winnipeg), separated (as the crow flies) by about 200 miles, with only about 110 feet in elevation difference between them....only about 0.6 feet of elevation change per mile. As far as I know, I live on the flattest place on the planet.
