I fear that I will be only dreaming of a White Christmas this year.
For about 20 years, I have put on my skiis at 9 AM on Christmas Eve in a local park, put on the headphones connected to the old Walkman, and enjoyed a nice ski-tour in the park while the live broadcast from Cambridge University would echo in my head, courtesy of Minnesota Public Radio and the BBC.
Not this year, I guess. It is brown, brown, brown. What little snow we had is gone.
Our winters have been tending warmer and warmer over the years, but I think this will be the first Brown Christmas I have seen in a long time.
How's the weather where you are? Winters getting warmer?
Jay
