I think it looks really nice and unique. Love the bright natural wood finish against the black fretboard, and the shape is very cool too.

I wonder about the specs.. The string spacing looks wider than usual, specially the group spacing. Also, what tuning is this, since it's on a shorter 30" 12 string?

good observed!

the string spacing on the saddle iswider than on standard electric guitars (rogh 8mm)
on the bridge is it like on a strat (īround 10mm).

That`s comfortable for tapping, especially on the bass strings.
the tunning is similar to a long scale axe: beadgcf- beadgcf.
the idea behind is, that you can use standard strings of your choice from the shop īrond the block; it`s more convinient to reach the deep notes, and the bass sounds are a bit warmer than on loooong scaled guitars.

the design of the body is closed to my accoustic tapper, "honey comb". I still find it very ergonomic for tapping.

That`s right!!!

Hey, you`ve discoverd the new pics on my site. Many thanx for your intrest in my stuff.

Next week would I anounce the new project, when more pix are published...

actually Iīm workin` on an archtop tapguitar.
Itīs a 12 stringer, but with 12 sympathetic strings added on the top, piezo bridges under the treble str. bridge. Also under the bridge for the aditional "sitar" str. magnetic pus from MEC comes in the "jazz" position near the neck. All stuff in stereo, with build in chromatic tuners for each side, active 4 way active tone controls... Do I have forgot a detail?
OK, all massive woods, best flamed maple, finest grade german spruce, ebony fretboard.

These Blonde Big Mama Bear is for a guy from Berklee, Ca. A great player!

Thatīs it for now, new pix comes frequently in the next weeks, ītil the work is done. Stay tunied.

Best, SIGGI
