Basic Membership
To register for a free Basic Membership at Tappistry.Org is easy.
To sign up, go to the 'Forum' section, where you will find the 'Registration' page. Fill it out and -- presto! -- you receive Basic Membership at Tappistry.Org.
Registration is free, and allows you to do the following:
• Reply to other peoples' posts
• Post new threads (start new conversations,ask a question, bring up a new idea)
• Edit your posts
• Receive email notification of replies to posts (if you wish)
• Send private messages to other members
• Enter gigs and events on the world-wide calendar
• Set up a 'buddy-list' to quickly see which of your friends are currently online
There are no dues, and no obligations. Registration requires a 'user name' and a valid email address. (Entering your email address will not leave you open to 'spam', as you can choose to hide your email address, and messages sent to you via email do not reveal your address to the sender.)
No private information is tracked nor made available to any outside party. Tappistry.Org administrators have no access to your private information for any purpose other than operating Tappistry.Org.
As soon as you register, a confirmation email will be sent to you, and then you're a member!.
With free Basic Membership, you can visit with tappers and fellow musicians all around the globe. Read and post to the forums, get your gigs and events on the worldwide calendar, receive email-notification when somebody replies to your post (if you wish to receive notification).
You'll also obtain your own Control Panel, where you can maintain your buddy list, to see when friends are online at the same time. If they're online you can send them an instant Private Message, for their eyes alone.
And there's lots more. All free. All available around the clock.
